Depending on local demand, over 70% of all the scrap we handle could be exported.
Furthermore, we are continually seeking and developing new trading relationships with partners in all locations across the world, as we recognise that it is this global network that allows us to remain competitive in all market conditions.
Tom Martin & Co. Ltd. physically handles in excess of 4,000 tonnes of new production non-ferrous scrap per month. Of this, approx. 80-90 % is Aluminium.
All of the scrap that we handle is physically processed and inspected by Tom Martin at one of our own dedicated processing centres, which has ensured that the quality of our scrap is regarded as ‘second-to-none’ by our consumers. We are able to process and package to our customers' exacting requirements. We can load material into bulk tipping trailers, walking floors, 20' and 40' sealed containers, as well as onto flat or curtain-sided vehicles. Material can be packaged in a variety of ways, most usually briquetted and strapped on pallets, in bulk bags strapped on pallets, or loose in a tipping trailer.
Our experienced export administration team will take care of all issues relating to paperwork, invoicing, bills of lading, and we are able to arrange payment on account, by bank transfer upon presentation of bill of lading or by letter of credit.

Our Trading Network
Polish Trading Office
In 2007, we opened a trading office in Southern Poland. This facility handles the sales of all our materials into the Central and Eastern European markets.
Local knowledge and experience enables us to use more effective and economic haulage lines, process transfrontier shipping documents promptly and correctly and engage with our customer consumers more closely and regularly.
We also constantly seek opportunities to purchase all grades of aluminium scrap from manufacturing plants and other recycling businesses in Central and Eastern Europe. A physical presence comprising transport, warehousing and processing facilities are available near Katowice.
